In Guru Granth Sahib under raag Natt Narayan we find another form of this raag viz.,Natt. Actually raag Natt Narayan is a form of raag Natt only. But both these raags are different and independent. Wherever Gurus have used the word Natt Narayan they have clearly written Natt Narayan Mahla 4th, 5th etc. Natt Narayan raag signifies haste. Amrit Jal alone can put an end to this haste. With Nam mind will become steady . Nar Narayan will take the place of Natt Narayan “Khin khin nar Naaraaein gaavehi mukh bolehi nar nareharae” Nam Amrit Jal brings about steadfastness of the mind. Summing up the essence in Gurbani Banee Guroo Guroo hai Banee vich Banee anmrit saarae Gurbanee kehai saevak jan maanai parthak guroo nisataarae.
